Teratai - The Perfect Combination of Perfection and Tranquility

The water lily, or Bunga Teratai, in Balinese culture is a symbol for perfection, beauty and exoticism, but also inner peace and balance. It inspires us to dream and to remember stories, to find a place of rest and tranquility in our busy lives. It is precisely this image that lends its name and formal theme to our imaginative modular sofa system Teratai.

The softly rounded form language of the sofas, their slightly bent backs in pillow form and the exceptional seems – curved here, smooth there, sloping over an edge – evoke the natural shape of the flower. The seemingly organic perfection thereby gets its emotional strength, while the seem – which clings to the fabric like veins on a leaf – simultaneously strengthens the sofa and fastens it.

In addition to its aesthetic appearance, the sofa system Teratai is also characterised by its high quality and excellent comfort. This is ensured by the ergonomically designed seat and backrest cushions, the softly padded armrests and the integrated headrest, which provide perfect support for the neck and back. The high-quality materials and the carefully chosen seams – which are adapted to the individual shape of each piece – additionally guarantee the optimum sitting comfort.

For an even more comfortable stay, the rooms in our hotel are equipped with design features such as blackout curtains. Some selected rooms also include a television. You can start the day with a delicious in-house breakfast, which is included in your room rate. On cool evenings, you can warm up by the fireplace in our lobby.

A wide selection of great dining options is available to you near our property, such as Teratai Restaurant & Bar. The in-house café also offers a great choice of drinks, snacks and pastries. For a relaxing end to the day, you can enjoy a massage at the hotel.

In addition to our hotel, the village of Kampung Teratai Putih is home to a number of restaurants and cafés. You can also visit a range of other places, such as the Museum of Modern Indonesia and the Taman Sari Arts Center.
